Meet Shelly (aka Latte Lady): Shelly's Scoop

Welcome to Shelly (aka Latte Lady). Shelly is visiting me this week from her space Shelly's Scoop. Shelly is a realtor who in her spare time enjoys jotting down her daily musings at her MSN Space, shopping for purses, surfing the "net" and just relaxing. She's a mom of two rocker teen boys who are in their own band, FinishLine. Check them out. Shelly also enjoys chocolate and those wonderful tall nonfat vanilla lattes. Shelly is on a mission to sell 12 houses by October so there will be no worries during the slow season. Shelly's space was featured on What's Your Story? in May and enjoyed her week of fame. Please take a moment of your time and click on over to Shelly's Scoop to visit awhile. Tell her I sent ya.

Guest For a Week (My Life in Italy by Ann)

Wow! After being accepted by BE, I decided to also run the rent campaign. I haven't had it going for long at all and I already have a guest blogger: I'd like for ya'll to meet my guest for the week, Ann, and check out her blog, My Life in Italy. Ann is a 34 year old American gal who is currently living in Italy with her husband, Luca. Their meeting is quite a story of its own. She had posted in a Yahoo group that she would be visiting Italy for a week. This was in October of 2001. She received an email 3 weeks before she left from Luca offering to show her around the area and perhaps going out for a coffee or dinner one evening. Ann then explains that as things progressed before the trip, Luca offered his hospitality by inviting her to stay with him and his parents while she was visiting. To find out more about their story you'll have to read here. Right now Ann and Luca are in the process of possibly moving to Canada. Luca is receiving help from a friend to translate his resume and website into English. Ann is busy getting all of the necessary paperwork together for immigration to Canada. Ann has many entries on what life is like in Italy. From Italians and Housework to Making Friends in Italy, Ann tells of what it is like living in Italy and how it differs from here in the US. As for her hobbies, Ann enjoys geneology, camping, blogging, traveling, and more. She also has a photo album where you can see photos of her wedding. Ann and Luca make a lovely couple. Won't you please take a moment of your time and click over to Ann's blog, My Life in Italy. Also, as an added bonus, any blogger that is featured here will also be featured on my MSN Space: Welcome to my Home at a later time free of charge (no credits necessary).

Meet Libby Abraham

I would like for ya'll to give a warm welcome to Libby Abraham. Libby is visiting me this week from her MSN Space: Libby Dawn Abraham. Libby is the wife of Brock Abraham, an army soldier, who is stationed in Iraq. Libby is missing her hubby terribly, but will soon have her hubby with her when he gets to come home sometime in June. Libby and her children will be excited to have their daddy home (and I'm quite sure he will be happy to be home, too). In the meantime while she's waiting, Libby spends her sparetime selling Mark cosmetics and is a consultant for Close to my Heart where she sells scrapbooking products. She also loves shopping, blogging, and most importantly spending time with her family Not only does Libby have a blog here at MSN Spaces, there is also a tribute site that is for her husband. Please take a moment of your time to check out her husband's tribute page (and leave a comment), her MSN Space, and her scrapbooking site and tell her I sent ya.

Welcome Mocha Momma

Please welcome, Kelly(aka Mocha Momma)to my home for the week. Actually this lady, who would "would sniff a line of coffee grounds", needs no introduction. She is well known in the blogging community with her MSN Space, but did you know that she also has a blog at blogger? While surfing the blog world I came across her blog, Mocha Momma and this is the one that I will be featuring. Kelly moved to blogger cause it was easier to upload her photos that she has on Flickr. Kelly loves taking photos especially now that she has a new Canon Digital Rebel XT that she got from her hubby, Ken. She has been thoroughly enjoying her new toy along with her son Morgan. Recently they spent some time together in Springfield shooting cameras, Kelly with her new one, and Morgan with his mom's old one. Kelly loves spending time with her boys, Mason and Morgan, and her daughter, Mallory, when she is home from college. There's not much to tell about, Kelly, that her blogging buddies don't already know except that she plans to have her own website that is in the works now. When she unveils it to everyone I will post a link here. In the meantime enjoy reading about Kelly at Kelly's Space: Life Fueled by Coffee and at Mocha Momma and take a gander at her photos on Flickr. Tell her I sent ya.

Meet Val Ewing: Mulewings

Meet Val Ewing. I met Val while involved in an MSN photo group. Val's uses blogger for her blog, Mulewings and also has photos posted of her mules and other things on Flickr. When Val is not working as a receptionist in a chiropractic's office, she packs her camera and whistles for her pal, Morris(terrier), to come along with her while she rides her mules in the woods. Riding for her is like breathing air. To her it's a necessity or as she eloquently puts it, "I live to ride, and ride to live." Riding and photography is a passion for her. Right now she's had to put some things on hold due to her shoulder problems(frozen shoulder). She recently had to undergo surgery and is now in physical therapy to get the mobility back in her shoulder and arm. Along with mules and photography, the other loves in her life are her 2nd husband, Rich, her 2 sons from her previous marriage, and her 3 grandchildren, writing, and hiking. One interesting tidbit about Val is her dad. Her father, Tom Rogers, was an advertising copywriter and creator of Chalie the Tuna. He also had a hand in creating other memorable ad mascots of the 60's and 70's(Keebler Elves and Morris the Cat). Val's father died in June of 2005, but will always be in her heart. Please take a moment of your time while on your computer and stop by Mulewings and Flickr by Val and tell her I sent ya.

Meet Rachel Pennington: How I See It

I'd like ya'll to meet Rachel Pennington. She's a mom of two teenagers, and a wife of 20 years. She lives in Northern Georgia and according to her profile photography is her passion. Rachel has been blogging since around the fall of 2004 and uses blogger. Her topics of blogging include her two teens, Brooke(19) and Cain(16), her photography, family, and her life. Besides photography, her other interest include hiking, camping, and being involved with her family. She takes wonderful photographs and has gobs of them that she has uploaded to Flickr. She's been behind the camera (so to speak) since she was 8 when her parents bought her her first camera for Christmas. Since then it's been non stop. Her fave subjects are her son and daughter although after so many photos they may feel that it's time for her to find new models. Besides her children, she also loves shooting nature and sports. Rachel describes her passion in these words, "I am crazy about photography. I love shooting nature, & sports, mostly American football and baseball. I'm just starting to get brave enough to shoot random people. I love looking at a person's face or hands and wondering what their life is like. I also love macro photography." Rachel also has her own website of her beautiful photos that she has for purchase, Rachel Pennington Photography. While online this week, please take a moment of your time and check out Rachel and tell her that I sent ya.
